A Bit Of My Gratitude Journey So Far:
“Currently, I nearly constantly enjoy a life filled with gratitude. In the early 90s I heard in a 12 Step program that it is wise to be grateful for difficult challenges as well as happy surprises because it would accelerate personal spiritual growth. The skeptic in me begrudgingly tried it out at first. I would grit my teeth and say “Thank you” each time a big challenge came my way. Over time, I began to notice that I was genuinely experiencing gratefulness as I faced people who hurt me-seemingly intentionally or as I increasingly dealt with emerging fearful shadow energies. They popped up without warning from deep within. Now I know my innate intelligence buried them because they were too painful, traumatic and overwhelming to process in real time. As I tackled the buried “treasures” bit by bit, gratitude deepened and became my near constant companion. Lately, deeper layers of fear have begun to emerge. With gratitude I can follow the suggestion of the great Rumi poem The Guest House: “I fling open the door of my heart and invite them all in. I give each a special place at my table of love and I offer thanks to each one for coming to visit.” Peace comes as I offer loving acceptance with gratefulness for the countless ways I am served as I authentically welcome everything that comes into my awareness. Deep Bow of Gratitude to you.”

“Thank you for creating this platform! I have been practicing constant gratitude for many years and it has really transformed my life. I know that what we focus on we get more of, whether it is our complaints or what we are grateful for. This has been my experience. I had not thought of how our perpetual collective gratitude might change the world but with the creation of the Holy Order I now see the great possibilities inherent in individual frequency management.”

My Gratitude Journey
“It all began during a season of isolation, no friends, no companionship, just me. In that stillness, I turned inward to truly discover who I AM. I started writing down things I was grateful for not every single day, but consistently enough that it began to shape the way I saw life. I would fill a page with gratitude, read it out loud three times, and then go about my day.
At first, I couldn’t see much difference, but I could feel it. That feeling grew stronger with time, until gratitude became something I lived moment to moment without even thinking about it. Gratitude has transformed me from the inside out. It opened doors I once only dreamed of and showed me how powerful it is to live with an open heart. I wish the same for everyone, and this Order provides the space for people to connect with that same vibration to experience how gratitude can quietly change everything.”

Many years ago I had a unusual dream. Most dreams are visual, but this one was just a very clear voice that said that “from this point forward for the rest of your life, any impact you have in the world will not be the result of what you do, but who you are. There will still be much doing but the real impact will be the energy you carry.” That began an inner journey that I came to realize was really about increasing my frequency and the two most important things to generate that increase were love and gratitude. Thus began my own gratitude journey; learning to focus more and more on what I have to be grateful for. Then in 2025 came the test, which the Universe periodically does to help us see how far we have come on our journey.
I was diagnosed with lymphoma and, after the initial surprise, I immediately started looking for the gifts – and there were many. I came to realize that the cancer was a visitor who had come at my souls invitation with some genuine gifts that would help me on my journey this time around. Once those gifts were acknowledged with gratitude, it had fulfilled its mission and left. Of course there were moments of discomfort with the five months of chemo-therapy, and like any adventure into the unknown, there were some challenging moments. The point is, I came to understand the ‘why’ of what was happening and to realize that, at a soul level, it was all for the higher good for my soul growth.
